The Company
The Manabi Free Trade Zone it's a limited space with an extension of 75 hectares and approximately 300 hectares in reserve, where the merchandise that enters receives a special treatment in duties and tax matters. In addition, the companies that develop their commercial and industrial activities inside the Free Trade Zone perceive a environment of benefits in tax matters.
ZOFRAMA S.A. is the company in charge of the administration and development of this free trade zone. The Ecuadorian government authorized our operation in June 1996.
The industrial area of the Manabi Free Trade Zone is located 15 km away from the port of Manta, in the northwest end of South America.
Nowadays, the Manabi Free Trade Zone has 15 users, 3 of them are dedicated to industrial activities, manufacturing clothes, "tagua" buttons and agrochemicals, all of them for export purposes.
