What benefits do i get?
The companies settled on the free trade zones will enjoy the following benefits:
- Total exoneration from taxes, rights, and tariff mortgages for the imports of merchandise, goods, raw material, equipments, machinery, materials and implements, which the users perform in the free trade zones according to the operation authorization.
- Total exoneration of the Rent tax and IVA for every act and contract accomplished inside the free trade zones, and therefore the payment of provincial, municipal and any other taxes to be created, even if express exoneration is required.
- Total exoneration of the Patent tax and taxes involving production, use of patent and trademarks, and technology transference.
The companies will enjoy all of these exonerations for a 20 year period, starting from the resolution that authorizes the installation of the free trade zone, which can be extended.
